Hattie B's Hot Chicken Food Review - Atlanta

“This is the BEST “hot” chicken I’ve had in life!”

***NEW ATL RESTAURANT ALERT***

If you are a fried chicken lover and you haven't ate at Hattie B's in Atlanta, you have not lived yet!!!

Seriously, I first heard about this place in Memphis, TN a few years ago. I heard several months ago they were opening up one in Atlanta. They opened a few months back, but I just got here today.....

Bruh, this is the BEST "hot" chicken I've had in life! Could be the BEST chicken ever but I'd have to try it plain without the spices to determine that.

The only bad thing about this experience was we had to wait around 20-25 minutes to order because the line was out the door. But that really built up anticipation!

All I can say is WOW! From the "HOT" breast quarter to the pimento mac & cheese, to the baked beans and southern collard greens; OMG! Party in your mouth!

But it didn't stop there, peach cobbler and ice cream at the end was the BEST I've ever had in life! No lie!

To top it all off, the prices are very inexpensive to be around Little Five Points!

I'm telling you! If you are hungry tomorrow and you live anywhere near Atlanta, I'm telling you, you want to come to Hattie Bs! They're not paying me for this and this may be the longest foodie post I've ever made!

2017 Grand Cayman Island Trip

There's nothing like celebrating your 35th birthday with clear beaches, beautiful crystal clear waters, sun setting and rising over the ocean, kayaking in the ocean, swimming and snorkeling with stingrays and other exotic fish in the ocean, touring the Crystal Caves, and just learning about the history and culture of the Grand Cayman Island.

We stayed at the beautiful Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort "The Beach Experience" Hotel and we highly recommend staying here! We visited many places such as Stingray City, Crystal Caves, Lovers Wall, Grand Cayman Blow holes, Hell (yes, hell... lol), and the Pedro St. James Castle. We also drove the entire island in about an hour.

Watch this video recap of our recent trip to the Grand Cayman Island.

Shoreline Bar and Grill - Smith Bay, Virgin Islands

Our first time visiting St. Thomas, U.S.V.I. and we decided to eat here for dinner our first night. Our server was very good, especially since she said only started a few days before. We sat right beside the water and it was crystal clear (besides the brown seaweed) washing up and there were the HUGE fish swimming around the restaurant. Of course of waitress informed us of what they were and they were almost prehistoric like.

Anywho, I got Mama's ham and cheese sandwich and it was soooooo good! My husband got the Monday special of the day, Slow Roasted pork, my son got the ribs, and my daughter got cheese quesadilla's. They were all very good and let's just say, the plates were all clean by the time we were finished. However, the Miami Vice drinks were ok and I won't order them again. My son's passionfruit virgin daiquiri was delicious though!
